This service is offered to older adults who can not easily come to my office. The whole range of physical therapy listed under “in-office physical therapy” can be provided in the home. This service is reserved for patients who do not have transportation or for whom traveling is painful or difficult. Additionally, for older adults who do come to my office, it is sometimes beneficial to do a home visit to look at the home environment and make recommendations regarding safety.
